Hello lovelies! This weekend we are celebrating Mother’s Day and what better way to do so than with some banana bread. So, today I’m sharing a delicious yet simple recipe that will have you licking your fingers. How do I know this? Umm, because basically it had my friend, husband and I doing the exact same thing.
Serve this warm banana bread alongside some almond milk lattes (or wine!) and a dollop of creamy butter (Get dangerous! Ha-ha!) and simply enjoy!
Here is the recipe:
1. ½ cup walnuts
2. 3 ripe bananas
3. 1 cup of sugar
4. 2 large eggs
5. ½ of melted butter (or oil)
6. 2 cups of flour
7. 1 tsp. of baking soda
8. ½ cup of chopped walnuts
9. Cooking Spray
Start by roughly chopping your walnuts. Then, in a large mixing bowl mash bananas and add sugar. Combine ingredients. Next add eggs, melted butter and whisk mixture until thoroughly combined. Fold walnuts into mixture and then pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 50-55 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
Hostess Tip:To ensure loaf is completely baked, insert a toothpick into the middle and if the toothpick comes out dry, then the loaf is ready to go. If not, leave the loaf in the oven baking for an extra few minutes. Repeat until the toothpick comes out dry.
Happy baking and as always, if you make this banana bread recipe let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. Thank you so much for watching and please don’t forget to subscribe.
