Last week we were all about Mexican street corn for the upcoming Cinco de Mayo festivities. This mouthwatering recipe is a definite must try and if you don’t know what I’m talking about then watch, here!
With that said, it was only right to pair this delicious corn with a just as delicious cocktail. Enter the best margarita recipe ever. The pineapple margarita that is! This tropical drink will have you transported to a pristine beach and sunny skies in no time! And since you’re playing fabulous hostess or as I like to refer to it “being an event fashionista” (Yes, it’s a state of being, ha-ha!) then this cocktail recipe is a no brainer! Get ready to scream, “best margarita recipe eva!”
Without further ado, let’s rock on!
Pineapple Margarita Recipe
1. 2 ounces of your favorite Tequila
2. 2 ounces of Pineapple Juice
3. 1 ounce of Triple Sec
4. ½ teaspoon of agave nectar or honey
5. Cubed ice
6. Pineapple chunks for garnish
Hostess Tip—I would recommend the Trader Joe’s Pineapple Juice. It is 100% pineapple juice. No added sugar, colors or preservatives. The taste is perfectly sweet and refreshing. It is my favorite!
In a cocktail shaker, add all ingredients including the ice and shake, shake, shake. Strain mixture into a margarita glass (or whichever glass you prefer) and garnish with a pineapple chunk.
I hope this cocktail recipe makes it into your Cinco de Mayo p-a-a-a-r-t-y! And if it does, don’t forget to share! Can’t wait to see.
Until next time!
