Halloween Party or More Like The Unwind Adults After Party: Table Décor Included!

halloween table ideas
Hello Lovelies!

Halloween is quickly approaching and as you start planning, here is an idea for a simple, adults only gathering, table décor included. Because let’s be real, after all that trick or treating with the kids, you and your friends will need a place to sit, eat some appetizers, drink some vino and completely unwind. So, instruct the kids to go eat their candy and play amongst themselves because it is mommy, aunty, mina (what my goddaughter calls me) time! Let the Halloween party…I mean, let the unwinding begin!

To recreate the simple table idea, you’ll need the usual staples. Some placemats, plates, napkins and of course wine glasses. This is meant to be easy and effortless, so grab what you have. At the end of the day, you’ll be so tired anyway that you won’t really have any time to get all crazy. It’s about inviting your family and friends over after a long day of walking around and trick or treating with the kids.

Next, I added flowers (I know, always stating the obvious) and some gold skulls to keep the Halloween party theme going. Since you are entertaining adults, it’s all in the small details. You don’t need to have everything in an orange and black color palette to stay within the theme. For an extra-added touch, I placed a Belgian chocolate pumpkin on every plate setting. A perfect pairing to the wine bottle ‘or’, I mean… ‘and’ champagne bottle that you are about to crack open!

Need some quick food ideas? Here’s are two easy ones that will have you entertaining in no time.

1. Mediterranean Platter

2. Fall Cheese Platter

Also, If you’re wondering about the pumpkin DIY ice bucket,  the entire step by step tutorial will be up on YouTube this Friday—something you can totally do ahead of time.
