Easter Sunday is quickly approaching and a lovely brunch is the perfect way to celebrate!
With every holiday, I’m always trying to find new and innovate ways to dress up the table and Easter is no exception. Last year I opted to use Cherry Blossoms and adorn their branches with pastel colored eggs. Hues of light colors filled the table and made for a bright and cheerful sight. It felt like a warm, spring day!
Hostess Tip: Cherry Blossoms can be hard to find, although they are in season in the spring. If you can’t find them go with these Silk Cherry Blossom Branches. I’d be lying if I told you that I was a fan of fake flowers, but after seeing these in person I think they do the trick. That is of course, if you can’t find the real deal.
For some extra detail I added hydrangeas to bookend the table, used small dipping bowls filled with chocolate eggs (Bought the candy at Target), and one pink colored egg to mark each place setting, because why not?! These simple details continued to express my “Spring is Here” theme and it was perfect. Lastly and certainly never least, I created a yummy pink cocktail which carried the color scheme from our table to our stomaches!
Need the recipe, have no fear. Brace yourselves…Ready….
Champagne + a drop of pink food coloring! Yup, that’s right! Food coloring will not alter the taste of your champagne yet will make it whatever color you’re going for. Now that’s perfection!
Oh, and by the way I wouldn’t do this with expensive champagne, so buy the cheap kind! Ha-Ha!
Okay, lovelies stay tuned for this year’s Easter Sunday festivities but till then happy entertaining!
