Lunch Meeting Fashion!

Fashion Camel Hat

I’ve been so busy lately (aren’t we all?!) and running from place to place has just become the norm. So, finding outfits that translate from work to play are a must. Oh, and so are flats! Cause, let’s be honest no one is running around New York City with six inch heels all the time. My secret, I pack them in my bag and throw them on as I effortlessly walk into wherever I’m going!

Case in point—this past weekend. I had dinner plans with my husband but before going out to have cocktails and relax I had a meeting to discuss some very exciting news (can’t wait to share!) so I did what any respectable city girl would do. I wore my new favorite flats paired them with some cigarette jeans and a loose white blouse and I was on my way. Oh, did I mention that my entire outfit including the fabulous camel hat hailed from Zara! Let’s be honest ladies, can any of us really go in there without buying half the store? I sure can’t! And nope, this isn’t a sponsored post! It’s honestly the truth, for me anyways.

Since my outfit was pretty classic, blue jeans and a white top I decided to spice it up by, unbuttoning the top button of my blouse to create a more relaxed look—nothing I would recommend if you’re heading into an office! But since my meeting and industry are both rather relaxed it is totally acceptable. I also wore some of my recently received Rocksbox jewels—See code below to receive one month of free subscription!—and continued to accessorize my outfit. A pair of sunnies in hand and I was more than ready to kick some butt!
