A few weeks ago, my husband and I were sitting at home discussing how we both needed some time away, just a couple of days to recharge. We had both been working crazy hours and laying by a pool seemed like the perfect distraction. So, we packed our bags, boarded a train and off to Montauk we went. It was perfect!
We had never been, so of course I asked you guys where we should go. Thank you so much for all your recommendations. We tried to do and see as much as possible!
Without further ado, here are our favorites and will continue to recommend on + a vlog of our vacation!
Montauk Bake Shoppe—The jelly filled croissants were too die for and it’s the go to breakfast place.
668 The Gig Shack—We went there for dinner and we tried a bunch of their menu items. We are aspiring foodies, after all. Scallops, fish tacos, and BBQ ribs. They were all great! To top off our meal (as if we needed something else) we had the salted caramel gelato and it was ah-mazing!
Cyril’s Fish House—Did not disappoint! A casual restaurant with a coastal feel and a Jamaican flare. Need I say more?! Pulled pork sandwich and lobster rolls were two of our many indulgences not to mention their frozen drinks! Yum!
Montauk Farmer’s Market—As we learned, this only takes place on Thursdays. Thankfully we were in town! Anything from flowers to food can be found here. So, we wasted no time and bought prosciutto stuffed bread, fresh cheese, Arlotta Balsamic Vinegar (specifically recommended by you!), and “Summer in a Bottle” from Wolfer Estate Vineyard.
Then off we went to …
Sail Montauk—Right off the Montauk Yacht Club (where we gladly stopped for a drink) and boarded one of their sailboats for a private sunset sail. It was the perfect end to our mini getaway.
Hope you enjoy the vlog and thanks a million for sharing your favorite spots! Don’t forget to subscribe!
