My Grandma’s Version of Eggnog!

Coquito Recipe

It’s cocktail time. All the time, right?! So, if you enjoy a little spiked eggnog during the holidays you will certainly love this festive cocktail. It’s a super easy recipe, full of rich flavor!

After stalking and begging my grandma for the recipe, I finally got it. She couldn’t quite understand why I needed it so badly. In her exact words she tells me “Huh, why would you put this on the Internet? People want this recipe?!” Trying to get her to understand turned out to be quite a difficult task. Things like what’s a blog came up during our convo and after much back and forth I gave up on trying to explain. She’s so cute though that getting frustrated at her seems like a crime! I love you grandma!

Happy entertaining event fashionistas!

Coquito Recipe:

1 can of Coconut Milk

1 can of Cream of Coconut

1 can of Evaporated Milk

½ a can of Sweetened Condensed Milk {If you want to cut back on the sweetness, I would pour a bit less of this ingredient)

½ cup of white rum

¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg

1 ½ teaspoons of  vanilla extract

1 ½ teaspoons of  cinnamon

Whisk all ingredients together. Pour over ice and serve! Yummy!
