1 750ml bottle of Dry Rosé Champagne (please ensure it is dry as the more sugar content in the champagne the harder it is to freeze)
Diced strawberries (5-6) + 4 whole strawberries for garnish
1/8 cup of granulated Sugar
1/4 cup of water
In a saucepan, add water, sugar, and strawberries. While waiting for mixture to boil, press on strawberries to release their juices. Once water is boiling, turn off the burner and let the mixture cool for about 10-15 minutes or until it is at room temperature.
Next, in another pan (such as a cake pan or lasagna pan), add the strawberry mixture, rosé champagne and stir. Freeze for at least eight hours. Remove from the freezer and using a fork, scrape mixture until it is completely shaved ice.
Put into wine glasses or martini glasses, garnish with strawberries and serve immediately.
