Given that Christmas is my favorite holiday and breakfast is my favorite meal, merging these two things is simply a match made in festive heaven! So, after many hours of research and trying to derive to the most amazing Eggnog French Toast recipe, I finally got it!
Many of times, just like in this instance I realized simplicity is key! So, here is the recipe I adapted. Super easy!
Note that I used ¾ of a cup of Eggnog rather than one cup. I wanted to ensure that it wasn’t too sweet and it worked out perfectly! Additionally, I scraped the inside of a vanilla pod and did not use vanilla extract. It was definitely a party in my mouth, sweet enough and oh so moist and fluffy! A holiday must try.
